| This kitten showed up at the Dec. 2007 T'ville SPCA SCFN TNR clinic covered in fleas, sick, and starving. He looked like death warmed over. He was far too weak to release, so his ear was not tipped. A nice cat lady with medical experience agreed to nurse him back to health. During his recovery, he started to become tame enough to be a pet. When she could no longer care for him, I took him to my house. Scamp is now in excellent health. | Scamp is extremely gentle and quiet, but is timid and shy.
At first I thought he was mute, but he meows for canned food.
He enjoys being held and pet, but doesn't usually seek out human company
unless offered treats. He likes playing gently with other cats.

| Scamp was adopted in late 2010. July, 2011 update: Scamp has a girlfriend! The young lady who adopted him later rescued a year old female stray cat with tortoise shell markings which she named Siren. |
Siren's personality is the opposite of Scamp's. She is talkative, out going, and a bit rowdy. Of the several cats in her new home, Siren picked Scamp as her best buddy. She follows him around, initiates play with him, and they snuggle together when napping. |
